I've been invited to a special "Unity" exhibition

at the Zask Gallery's new location in Rolling Hills, CA.

A percentage of all the sales are going to benefit Japan.

So I'm designing "Matz"- arty laminated mats,

many with Japanese symbols,

to be sold for $16 each.

I'm hoping volume here.

A couple years after the installation.

Foliage is nice and lush.

The Por paint and gold leaf is immaculate.

Everyone is happy.

The steel pieces were lasered cut by a factory in Long Beach, CA.

Holes were also drilled to attach each element to the wall with spacers.

The garage faced a major street

so I suggested to the contractor that those

grates should be decorated, too.

Here's my welder attaching a flock of geese.

INSTALLATION

I can design anything.

But I need a small army of experts

when it comes to the installation.

I always go for the best looking help I can find!

BONITA VILLA

This is my most current installation for the City of Burbank, California.

The contractor interviewed me first....and never looked at another artist!

He now lives in Seattle but had this piece of property

he always wanted to develop in his old neighborhood.

My only criteria: include each of the daughters favorite:

Rabbits, Wolves and Butterflies.

Created for my first exhibition in Palos Verdes.

Sold immediately to a collector in Manhattan Beach.

I think it means the best rest ever in Italian.

On closer inspection, I can see that this is a repulsive little painting.

Probably a life long couple, out of shape,

with their fleshy body parts resembling an unclothed Botero.

This week I'm concentrating on the movers and shakers

that permeate our consciousness.

Every ending has a plaque.

Although, I did continue doing additional risers

on two separate stairways into the complex just to unify the appearance.
